Gordan Djurdjevic is a writer whose work explores the movement of ideas and practices between Western esotericism and Asian traditions, with a particular focus on South Asia.His research examines how ideas and practices take shape and evolve as they span cultural contexts, and how they are interpreted, adapted, and sometimes creatively misunderstood in the process. Within this broader inquiry, he has written extensively on Western esoteric traditions, including the new religious movement of Thelema as a distinct area of focus. He is the author of several books, including India and the Occult (Palgrave Macmillan) and Sayings of Gorakhnāth (Oxford University Press), and has contributed to numerous edited volumes on religion, esotericism, and cross-cultural exchange.He lives and writes in Vancouver, Canada. His current work continues to explore the intersections of Asian traditions and Western esoteric thought.
